Here are the star men from Matchday 29 of the season.
1. DANIEL PIKE (SPEC FC) - "Was on one leg the entire game but his bravery along with safe hands was absolutely vital. Heroic performance"
2. DANNY BERG (Redbridge Jewish Care A) - "a consistent performer at right-back all season and deserves it for that alone plus he has never missed a penalty and stepped up again"
3. DAN BREGER (FC Team B) - "bombed up and down the whole game"
4. ROB GLASS (ML Lions) - rock solid against a number of former pro players
5. ANDY MYERS (ML Lions) - a tower of strength at the back in the final against Bushey Sports
6. MITCH YOUNG (FC Team B) - "first game back from a three-month injury - capped off with two assists"
7. AVI KORMAN (Hendon Utd SC A) - "typical energetic box-to-box performance - a class above"
8. IAN BARON (L’Equipe) - "in a new ‘reverse sweeper’ role, Ian 'Baz' Baron was a true L'Equipe hero today. I have never seen him work so hard for the whole of the 90 minutes and he created a wall in front of the back four that meant Lions had to resort to long shots"
9. JOSH WEBBER (Boca Jewniors) - gave Catford & Bromley a big scare with two composed finishes
10. YOAV KESTENBAUM (Hendon Utd SC A) - "at his creative best at times - scored a goal and also produced the kiss of the season which his team-mates will be looking forward to seeing on the highlights video"
11. GRANT BATES (L’Equipe) - "led the line completely by himself and was simply fantastic. Held the ball up like a true centre forward, winning free-kicks at the most opportune moments. He caused real issues for the Lions defense with his size and desire for the ball. Capped it off with a superb header to double L'Equipe’s lead. From a man that was playing centre half only last year to now leading the line by himself that boy Grant Bates is finally a man of Jewish football"
MANAGER: Dan Jacobs & Dan Reuben (Maccabi London Lions)
